24-Hour Cancellation Policy and Returns

If you have changed your mind about an order made via Buy Now or Make an Offer, you may submit a cancellation request within 24 hours of order confirmation. To cancel your order, please contact our Orders team at orders@artsy.net stating your reasons.

Note: Artsy's 24-hour cancellation policy applies to offers and orders made via our Buy Now and Make an Offer purchase options only. It does not apply to bids placed at auction. 

The 24-hour window begins once a gallery has approved an order and Artsy receives your payment.

After the 24-hour window, your order is considered final sale and is not eligible for cancellation. Orders are still covered by the Artsy Guarantee and the EU 14 day return policy, where applicable.

To qualify for an order cancellation, you must:

• Complete your entire transaction, including all communications, through one of Artsy’s secure checkout methods, which include Buy Now, Make Offer, and Make Offer in Inquiries.
• Notify Artsy of your desire to cancel your order within 24 hours of order confirmation. 

If you pay the seller directly (e.g. via wire transfer, check, PayPal or other off-platform payment methods), this cancellation policy does not apply. You must contact the gallery directly to organize a return. Artsy does not handle returns of works purchased outside of secure checkout.
