Galleries can list works for secure checkout in USD, GBP, and Euro. When completing the transaction, you will be charged in the currency that the gallery has selected.
Note: Unless indicated otherwise, all prices listed in Dollars refer to USD.
When transacting in a different currency than what the cardholder’s card is denominated in, the bank converts some of the cardholder’s balance to the charge currency by using their conversion rate at that moment.
The bank might also add a “currency conversion fee” that may either appear to the cardholder as a separate fee, or simply as an increased charge amount.
In the event that a refund is created, our payment processor, Stripe, sends the funds back to the cardholder’s bank in the same currency they received them. The cardholder’s bank converts these funds back to the cardholder’s currency using their currency conversion rate at that moment.
This rate may differ from what it was at the time of the original transaction. The cardholder’s bank may also deduct a further “currency conversion fee” from what they return to the cardholder’s balance.
