How long does shipping take?

Shipping timelines vary by auction.

For auctions where the seller is arranging shipment, we’ll connect you directly with the seller who will be able to provide additional details on the shipping timeline.

For Artsy Auctions, the typical shipping timeline is 2-5 weeks from receipt of the payment. Artsy Auctions function a bit differently from other auctions, as we do not keep physical inventory in a warehouse, but work with our shipping partners to source works at time of sale directly from our sellers. 

Collection timelines can vary depending on the seller and shipper's availability. Once the work is collected by an ARTSY shipping agent, it will be inspected and packed for onward transit. Packing is customized for each artwork and generally takes 3-7 business days for completion. 

Tracking will be provided once the work is released to the courier. For works shipping via shuttle or air freight, the shipping provider will reach out directly with an estimated date of delivery and to schedule a mutually agreeable date and time to deliver.
